A Safety and Risk Management emphasisis also available for the General Business major. The UGA Griffin Campus offers a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a major in General Business. This on-campus, degree-completion program is designed for individuals living and/or working within commuting distance of Griffin, Georgia. Students gain a broad spectrum of business knowledge in the areas of finance, statistics, marketing, and management.

The General Business major provides an overview and fundamental working knowledge of the varied aspects of business. Had employment, job offers, or other professional plans within six months of graduation. A minimum GPA of 2.0 is required for admission to the general business major. The dataguyacademy Administration major is designed for those who wish to develop a broad understanding of business fields , rather than focusing on a specific one. In particular, those who want to become business generalists or entrepreneurs and those who are interested in starting or managing small to medium-sized businesses may pursue the General Business Administration major. Students participating in courses offered solely by UCLA Extension must meet the English Language Requirements outlined below.

You will notice that there are a few courses that every degree requires because they give a strong foundation to whichever career path that you might choose. As you complete these courses you will become much more in tune with an area that you would like to pursue. The most important of these courses areGBUS 5- Introduction to Business because this is where you will get a birds-eye-view of the business environment.

All general education requirements necessary for graduation are met through the courses in the program as indicated above. Students who wish to take courses that differ from the general education courses indicated above must complete a course substitution request form. To access the form, login to the MyCCP portal, and in the Student tab, under Electronic Forms, click on the Records and Registration Forms link, then choose Request For Course Substitution Of Graduation Requirement link.
